Description
This is one of my personal projects that I have finally gotten to the point where I am about to start putting fur/feathers on the damn thing. Could you help me choose between the facial pattern of a Barn owl (the white faced one) or a grass owl (the darker one) and if I should put fuzz (or something that resembles fuzz) on the snout? Thank you! critiques are always welcome!

Sorry, I'm just excited. This thing is turning out extremely well. Great job on the teeth and tongue, they look incredibly real.
The barn owl pattern has very striking contrast and adds a lot of character to the face, while the grass owl looks like the creature would be better camouflaged and make the eyes seem darker, more sinister. Pros an cons to both. Personally I love the barn owl look -- but I'm biased when it comes to barn owls. I guess it comes down with what you think would be best for the creature's disposition and environment.
As for nosefuzz-like stuff... you know, I don't think it would hurt, but I'm not sure this little guy needs it. Unless you have something that would come out to a really fine, velvety texture, like a horse's nose and mouth. Right now it actually looks pretty decent without it methinks.
